A good friend of mine told me "when you are in hell don't sit down - you'll burn your bum!" What she means is - and like Vix said - bad things can happen and they usually do - but if we let them get the better of us then bad things get worse. I'm pretty darn sure you are made of sterner stuff than that - so keep your chin up and remember that we are all sending you positive vibes!

Hey All!

Sorry to resurrect an old post but we have had a bit of movement.

A suggestion that has been put to the guys that are prosecuting us that the company will plead guilty to certain charges if they drop the charges against the people. Negotiations are going on at the moment between their legal eagles and ours.

If things are accepted then I won't have to go to court (I think), my mate will not be prosecuted and we can both get on with our lives. It also means that I can move on and look for some employment in the sustainability field although practically I won't be able to make any major moves work wise until we come back from the UK in May.

so there we are, there is light at the end of the tunnel and it is not an oncoming train!

seriously though, hope this plan does go forward.. sounds like eveyone needs to move one.

This sounds like good news, Nev. Fingers crossed for you. Do keep us up to date with developments.

There is a small possibility that I might have to be a witness in a fraud case. One one hand I think it would be really interesting. On the other hand I'm not looking forward to it and hoping that it doesn't actually get to court. The accused isn't anyone I know so it isn't personal in my case.
