HELP! We Need Somebody…well a few people, really

Very nice! Are you going to leave the walls white? (I prefer white walls - very Continental, I know - but it makes the room so much lighter.... And I'm sure it saves energy that way - so white walls are green, really!)

For now, yes... we like the continental look too. White walls and loads of exposed wood (or eh... fake wood laminate flooring) It feels like home to us.

Also,
White paint is cheapest.
Can always get cleaned and painted over - should a toddler find herself with a crayon
We don't need to put the light on as early
We can change the colour of the settee, curtains, etc without clashing with the walls
