Thank you Davie. When we cut it open, it had a neon yellow undercarriage. Which was a bit off putting!

Candied Carrot

I wanted to decorate a carrot cake so had a go at making candied carrot. The first attempt could have broken my teeth...boiled carrot sweets. The second attempt Candied carrots.jpg was just about there, should have left them a bit longer though but the cake did look nice. Wondering what else I could...

Hello everyone

I'm new to this site and have really enjoyed reading up about everything. Although I am a little worried about the 7 litres of elderflower cordial exploding in the bottles I didn't steralise today. They are in the fridge but I'm not feeling so pleased with myself now!
