Hello everyone.

I'm a committed decentralist, distributist and human scale enthusiastcurrently residing in Sydney Australia but originally from the UK. I'm very much into self-sufficieny and homesteading although I'm currently still at uni and living with my parents( ) and they don't have much room. But when I finish uni I hope to go back to Britain and homestead in the Westcountry somewhere as soon as possible while hopefully being able to write and advocate decentralism and self-sufficiency. I really like this site and have read it for several years now but I only just decided to join.

As you may have guessed I'm very much into decentralist politics as well as self-sufficiency and I'm wondering if anyone else here is too?

Can't say I'm very much into the politics of decentralisation (yet?), but I do tend to see red if I hear the word "centralisation" of anything anywhere... So in principle, I think, yes - I agree with you. And I think with rising oil prices a lot of decentralisation will happen automatically.
