Hi Toni and welcome to ish - Why not pop onto the intros thread and tell us some more about yourself?
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

But can your friend go Aha and wiggle their hips whilst singing Jailhouse Rock, Blue sueade shoes and My teddy bear ??

I would love to build something like this for myself. It's a case of finding the land and the planning permission, or a way round it!

Hello there ,

yeah looks nice , but he built it for 3000 ? what 3000 1000 ? No way for so little money to build it , look at the glass
in the windows , the shapes , that would cost 3k , further the details could not be made by anyone with no experience ,
it would also not be safe to live in , construction calculations for the roof load and fire regulations would have to be considered,
and then the army of civil servant's would have to give their approval .
Would be nice if it was possible to do such a thing though ,

regards ,

Paul

It certainly the planning regs on something like that that scare me.
I view the world vicariously through comedy. Don't take me seriously.

For good reasons, they don't like people building houses in the open countryside. Having recently got permission to build in the woods after a 3 year process of proving that we have a viable business that requires residence, we would discribe the rules as well-intentioned but overly beaurocratic.
