I'm sure you'd have no problem getting in as a steward - just contact them from their website - they are very keen to make the whole festival available to everyone!

Amateurs encouraged - very keen prices and friendly helpful service!

We're coming!!! In a stinky old car but we are filling it with two children, 3 adults, and enough camping and child-necessary rubble as needed for a week. I'm so excited - ds1 has already got his 2nd hand hug organic t-shirt to wear, and I'm hoping my pregnancy lard will have gone so I can get back into my bishopston skirt! (my fair trade headband should fit at least!)
my husband wants me to try the female ejaculation tent. I'm reserving judgement...
If anyone would like to meet up and say hi that would be interesting! (not related to above paragraph!)

I didnt spend any money at all at the big green gathering you get free meals as a steward these start usually after your first shift so usually you only need to be able to find one meal for yourself .
bring a loaf of bread or some pasta or rice and maybe a small camping stove , you dont actually need a stove as they allow fires if they are off the ground and you could cook some rice or porridge on a small wood fire .
So really all you need is a billy can or army mess tin and some matches
And we had quite a few foreign stewards I remember a russian girl and some spanish people and italians and some other east europeans

Circlecross: There wasn't a female ejacul;ation tent as such last year, just a couple of talks on it in the women's dome. It was quite interesting...
Everyhone else whose going: Do people have mobiles? Because i think it'd be nice to have an ish meet in the middle (near the chai chapel as already suggested). Or shall we all wear an ish flower somewhere so we can be recognised?!

I'm getting there on the Wednesday when all the coaches arrive.
maybe a meeting on Friday/Saturday afternoon? then most people have settled into being there. And...by then, in the afternoon, there's only shopping to do, so cakes and coffee will be a good distraction!!

Its because there were a few irresponsible owners who didn't clear up after the dogs/let them bark/let them wee on tents/let them off the lead.paradox wrote:I was really looking forward to taking the family along in my vw camper van untill we found out they dont allow dogs![]()
unfortunately, like alot of things, the minority ruined it for the majority. It's a shame, i'd love to take Finlay along - he'd have a whale of a time, but becuase of some idiots, no dogs can enjoy it.
