I don't know anything about it, how big it grows, how warm it needs to be, how many beans it would produce per plant etc. Any thoughts anyone? ...

You move house and the sound of the sheep keeps you awake at night (happened to us! But only for a few days)

You think your Sunday joint comes from a 'beef'.

I believe that (as with most things) the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. It was interesting to see an alternate POV though. Actually 2 of the guys who made the film were being interviewed last week and they said pretty much the same thing. Will it change how I live? No. Should we still be...

Thanks! I picked it up relatively cheaply on ebay so I didn't feel *too* guilty about the cost  . It's colourway 164 btw. Your scarf is lovely too. Not quite my colourway but a fabulous length. I'd love to have a go at spinning and dyeing but wouldn't have a clue where to start. Plus space ...

I did 3 scarves before I considered doing anything else  Having said that, I finished this bag earlier today and I'm dead chuffed with it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cheekyboy/416800444/ Have decided to jump in the deep end and design a baby sleeping bag for my new nephew who is due on the 2...

Well done Fee! Doesn't it feel good? I've been teaching myself to knit since Christmas & I'm feeling very proud of myself so far. I started with scarves - one for each of the boys and one for me, then I did 2 hats. the first hat was supposed to be for me but I knitted it on the wrong sized needl...

I'm quite fond of Autumn myself. It has a sense of fullness and completeness that no other season seems to hold.

Spring is a very close second though, full of hope and possibilities and the promise of good things to come.

Well done!

I do occasionally shop in our local co-op and while it's not perfect, they are trying to provide a greener alternative. Even their plastic bags biodegrade in 3 yrs (useful for when I forget my cloth bags  )

No idea - sorry :( but just had to say, "Cockroaches! Uuuuuggggghhhhh." On a tangent, I dropped a pen down the side of the sofa yesterday and put my hand down to rescue it. When I pulled out a very realistic looking rubber cockroach I screeched and threw it across the room. Boys, who'd hav...
