Right:

Friday 4pm, come and find out tent (we have a teepee tent - not a real tipi!!). We'll have the Ish flag either on the tent, or standing outside. We'll have the kettle on, so come find us for a picnic!

I'll PM people, and text those whose numbers i have.

If i've PMd you my number and you want to be contacted by text, then text me with your username and it'll be grand!

Would it be OK just to turn up on the Friday (if we can find you)?

regards

Sharon & Richard

Yep! that'd be great!

The flag is on homemade and crafts somewhere, so look out for it.

Great. Just making fruit cake ... Getting excited now!

Any thoughts re. the different camping areas? We've never been before. The info. just says that the terrain can be a bit steep!

I think we were in Longfields camping last year, and i#ll probably go for there again this year.

there isn't a lot of flat ground - it is true!! And, there are a few mini-canyons in some areas, but that just adds to the fun of it all...

Thanks for that.

And now, back to packing. Just how much do you need for five days?

Undies
Wellies

2x jeans
1 pair jammies
socks
shoes (welly shoes and flip flops)
2x jumpers (BIG jumper to be worn to go tomorrow, and a fllecy one for later on)

1x towel
travel wash kit

and that's about it.

we've also got to carry:

Kelly Kettle
Sleeping bags
Sleeping mats
Mead
Chai teabags
and a pint of milk and some sugar.

Sounds like you're very organised! We're just packing the car up ready for the off early tomorrow. Chai teabags at the top of our list, too.

So, I understand no glass is allowed on site. Before I decant a jar of peanut butter, is it just beer/wine bottles they don't like or absolutely everything?

we took glass last year, and i can't see anything on the main website about it. We'll probably be packing a couple of bottles of wine/mead.

i think your peanut butter should be safe!!

BGG tomorrow (Thursday)

Post: # 67197Post Tracey Smith »

Hi all,

I'll be heading up there tomorrow (Thursday) just for the day and will be reporting for the BBC (Somerset) radio.

I'll be on air with the others between 9 and 12 and would LOVE to do a little interview with some of the Ishers!

Will be on here here for a few hours tonight - drop me a line or come to the BBC bus (ya can't miss the great signwritten thing) in the morning - I'll be leaving here at 5.30 in the morning - eek - and will be there till about 6 in the evening, so maybe we can have a little chill in the afternoon.

Have fun everyone who's going. Do post some pics. I wish I was there with you but too much to do at work.

Have a great time

Zoe
